  Tennis Club Information

The club offers excellent facilities for players of all standards both on and off the court.
There are 2 International clay courts outside and 4 indoor hard courts, enabling the centre to offer all-year round tennis.
Within the recently built clubhouse there are modern changing facilities for both sexes with showers to enable you to freshen up before relaxing with a drink. The clubroom is a friendly and comfortable place to sit back and relax with friends after that energetic game.

There are regular social functions on at the centre ranging from “games” evenings to “themed” party nights, where members come together to enjoy a light hearted night out.

Opening times for the centre are as follows:-

Day of Week Opens Closes
Monday 9am 11pm
Tuesday 9am 11pm
Wednesday 9am 11pm
Thursday 9am 11pm
Friday 9am 11pm
Saturday 9am 7pm
Sunday 9am 7pm

The centre is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve.

Courts can be booked by members. Refer to the different membership types in the senior section for available booking times.

Coaching is available for all members and non-members over the age of 18. Individual or group coaching can be provided. See coaching section for costs of individual lessons and the group coaching times and costs are shown in the relevant sections seniors juniors or mini.

Annually the club holds the "Davis Cup" Event, a 2 or 3 day doubles tournament held over the August Bank Holiday weekend, with players competing in teams against each other. The weekend also includes at least 1 Bar-B-Q!

We also have friendly ladies and mens doubles leagues during the week.

Various club sessions run during the week according to membership type. Full details can be found under the section seniors.

We also operate a block booking system on our less popular times, which are reviewed every 6 months. Should you require lighting on the indoor courts, then there would be a small charge to cover the cost. The lights are not normally needed during daylight hours unless it is dull outside. Lights cost £9 per court for 1½ hours.
