County Champions at U18 level

Well done to our U18 boys team who on Saturday gave a convincing display against Winchester to win the final 6 rubbers to nil…. dropping only 11 games in 12 sets of tennis!!! The team was George Houghton: Alex Rosvkowski: Dom Pearson: Liam Seager: Well done guys great effort and a really positive result...

Junior Club Night

Club night on Friday kicked off on the clay courts with several new people coming along and giving the session a go. “hrs of tennis passed quickly and everyone said “it was great fun” and “we’ll be back next week”… so come and join them and let’s grow this junior club...

Eliza off to play abroad..

Having had a good Easter, reaching last 16 in a grade 2 National event, and practicing/ training hard in Spain for a week, Eliza is off on her travels again as she departs for France this time to compete in her first Tennis Europe U12 event, along with the West Hants team and 4 other British girls taking part in the tournament.. The event in Bressuire is her first step on the road to seeing what top level tennis is all about and we wish her good fortune.....

Aegon Team Tennis is starting….

  All 4 of our Aegon Team’s kick start their season this weekend… however it will be a short season for the U18 boys as they have only 1 match to play against Winchester TC… this weekend at home here… so it’s a grand final on the very first match!!! Come and support, the standard should be high as we field the no.1 in the County u17 in our team.. go George Houghton!!!! along with Alex Rosvkowski, Dom Pearson and Liam Seager   The other teams playing this weekend are: u9’s at Ringwood u14 girls at Winchester Mens team at Totton in Southampton   GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL 🙂...

Clay courts are “OPEN”

As spring heats up with our first of many warm and sunny days, it gave us the chance to get the clay courts up and running a week or two earlier than normal…. and the gang are out in force getting some practice… remember club nights on a Wednesday and Sunday will essentially be on the clay during the summer, with the indoors as back up (Sundays) if needs be… You can book the clay courts on the ob-line booking system, just go to courts 5 and 6, you should have had an e-mail explaining how to get there, if not e-mail the centre and we’ll re-send the e-mail out to you…...
